The Old Pueblo Community Services and Compass Healthcare have collaborated to provide a state-wide re-entry program for male and female offenders on the verge of parole revocation. The outcome of this program will be to reduce recidivism, prevent relapse, and enhance public safety. Casa Santa Clara and the Oasis House programs in Tucson provide residential services and Compass Healthcare provides behavioral health services.
PREP is designed to assist newly ex-prisoners in the community through an employment-based program that incorporates housing, mentoring, job training, and other services. As the lead agency, Primavera works with DK Advocates, Old Pueblo Community Foundation, YWCA, House of Neighborly Services, The Pima County One Stop and The Arizona Department of Corrections to assist 200 previously incarcerated persons each year.
